“Pentimento”

“The presence or emergence of earlier images, forms, or strokes that have been changed and painted over.”

Eileen’s show focuses on her recent collages where her imagination meets canvas.

Her occasional use of old canvases and painting over exciting images while letting them peek through here and there is where the show’s name came from.

Eileen works in many media (pencil, marker, paint, clay and textiles) and has fallen in love with combining them to create new works of art. Her work has become very special and personal to her. Except for the occasional piece she creates to please herself, she hopes that the world will enjoy it as well.
