🎭 Submissions Open for 2027-2028 Season Productions 🎶

GAC is seeking submissions for our 2027–2028 season! (FYI — our submission process has slightly changed this year)

Calling all directors, producers and creatives! We are seeking proposals for productions for our upcoming season. GAC is a community theater working to make performing and visual arts accessible for everyone in our community, staged in a 90-seat black box theater set up in a 3/4 thrust orientation.

2027–2028 Season Submission Deadlines for Consideration:

  • Oct 12, 2026 — final deadline for Fall 2027 shows
  • Jan 4, 2027 — final deadline for Winter 2027 shows
  • Mar 8, 2027 — final deadline for Spring 2028 shows

What we’re looking for:
GAC intends to present at least 9 productions this season. We produce at least 4 Resident Productions ourselves, and also host Guest Theater Organization (GTO) productions. Our 4 resident slots:

✨ Family shows
✨ Musicals or large ensemble plays
✨ Full-length plays
✨ One-act plays
✨ Variety acts  – musicians, magicians, and other assorted acts have all performed at GAC

How to apply:
Make your submission by going to our Season 2027-2027 Season Submission Form.
Submissions are evaluated by the GAC Play Reading Committee. Applicants should have a script, a director, and at least some of their production team in place. Submitting multiple shows? Please fill out a separate form for each one.

Call for Visual Artists, Crafters and Photographers

The Greenbelt Arts Center is looking for artists, crafters and photographers wishing to exhibit their work.

Greenbelt Arts Center especially wants to find artists and photographers who have not yet had a public exhibit of their work.
 
Let us know if you are interested in exhibiting with the Arts Center. There is no charge to the artist from the Arts Center for displaying your work & we don’t take a commission on any sales you may make.
