About the Art:
The exhibition showcases some of the nearby photographic opportunities he has discovered, including the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge, Lake Artemesia, the Conowingo Dam, Huntley Meadows, and his neighbor’s front garden.
About the Artist:
Bruce Goodman is an award-winning photographer who moved to College Park from northern New Jersey in 2023 when he retired from a 40-year career in human resources, where he commuted 2 1/2 hours daily to New York City. Upon moving to Maryland, he began asking local photographers about places to visit, learning more about birds and their behavior, and sharing birding activities with his wife. These encounters led him to explore areas in our own extended backyard.
