COME FOR THE ART … STAY FOR THE SHOW

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Suzanne’s childhood was spent on Long Island, New York where she developed a passion for art at an early age.

In the 1990’s, when she was living in Georgia, she took watercolor classes and studied with Atlanta professional artist Virginia Sorsby Fergus.

She traveled to Provence, France for plein air workshops with Florida artist Janice Russel Beck.

She has exhibited paintings in local theatres, art boutiques, galleries and several juried shows in the Atlanta area.

When she moved to Greenbelt in 2019 she had the privilege of taking painting classes at the Community Center with Raquel Keller and Amanda Spaid.

She enjoys working in watercolor. Inspired by French Impressionism, her paintings have a soft, moody quality.
