Lynne Slater is a sporadic collage artist
and photographer.

Her works were exhibited at the Torpedo Factory, the
Greenbelt Federal Courthouse, the MNCPPC “Works in Paper” show and
in numerous Laurel Arts Guild juried shows. In 2008 she retired from NASA
and purchased her first digital camera.

“For me photography is both adventure and discovery as much as it is art.
During the lockdown, I began taking photographs in my garden; now it’s a
daily practice … What began as an exercise to develop my skill and save my sanity unwound into

an awareness of the exquisite grace of color in small spaces

and the grace of uncommon light.”
